👨🏽💻Mark Corben 🧑💻

Mark Corben has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. 👨🏽‍💻Mark started their career as a Database Developer at Brisbane City Council, where they designed and built databases for rebate applications. 👨🏽‍💻Mark then worked as a Database Administrator and IT Technical Adviser at the University of Queensland, where they managed various tasks related to student support and disability management.

Mark also worked at GROW as a Web Site Developer, where they upgraded the website to be more dynamic using Drupal. 👨🏽‍💻Mark was also responsible for implementing accessibility requirements for the website.

👨🏽‍💻Mark gained experience as a Drupal Module Analyst/Programmer at Cochlear, where they worked on developing software modules for the Drupal platform.

Mark has also worked as a Fellow Developer and Drone Workshop Facilitator at the State Library of Queensland, where they contributed to various development projects.

👨🏽‍💻Mark worked as a Freelance Analyst Programmer and Website Developer at SPELD Qld, where they installed and configured Drupal systems for various organizations.

At Acquia, Mark has held multiple roles, including Support Engineer, Senior Support Engineer, Lead Support Engineer, and currently, Support Product Hub Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for providing support to customers, managing technical escalations, handling complex issues, and mentoring others in technical problem resolution.

In addition to their technical roles, Mark briefly worked as a Mathematics, Science, and Physics Teacher at the Queensland Department of Education.

Prior to their professional work experience, Mark worked as a Website Developer and Computer Training Provider at Geek Boy Technultancy, where they developed websites and provided computer training services.

Mark Corben has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from James Cook University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1989. 👨🏽‍💻Mark also holds a Graduate Diploma in Teaching (Secondary) with a focus on Mathematics and Senior Physics from Griffith University, which they completed in the year 2013.
