Frits Groenewegen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial and sustainability sectors. Currently serving as the Managing Director a.i. of CerQlar and the Chief Operating Officer at ACT Commodities Group, Frits has a proven track record in market-based sustainability solutions and the automation of energy attribute certificates trading. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at ANZ, where responsibilities spanned global trading operations, strategic management, and digital transformation initiatives. Frits has also held senior consultancy positions and co-founded CareerFever BV, demonstrating expertise in operational change management and financial services. Frits holds a Master of Science in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and is pursuing an executive course at INSEAD focusing on strategy in the digital age.
