Carys Jenkins

Carys Jenkins has a diverse background in the field of diversity and inclusion. Most recently, they have been working as the Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Action for Children since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Diversity and Inclusion Officer at Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council from January 2018 to October 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Employment Pathway Learning Coordinator at the council from April 2017 to January 2018. Carys also has experience as a Youth Tutor at Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales from December 2016 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as a Young Carers Project Worker at Cardiff YMCA from December 2014 to April 2017 and as a Youth Participation Officer at Youth Cymru from May 2013 to January 2014.

Carys Jenkins has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Working for Children and Young People from the University of South Wales, obtained in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Youth and Community Work at the same university in 2014.
