Sheikh Shananuzzaman Angkan

Sheikh Shananuzzaman Angkan currently serves as the Communication Focal for the Rohingya Response Programme at ActionAid Bangladesh, starting in November 2023. Prior to this role, Sheikh worked as the Deputy Manager of Audio-Visual Communications at the BRAC Institute of Educational Development from February 2023 to October 2023, where responsibilities included managing the AV team and developing branding material for community engagement. Between 2019 and 2022, Sheikh held multiple positions at BRAC Institute, culminating as Assistant Manager, focusing on content management and social media production for events and campaigns. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Director and Video Editor at Chocolight Creative Productions Ltd. from 2016 to 2018, and as a Production Assistant at Independent Television in 2016. Sheikh holds a Master's degree in Media and Communication from Independent University, Bangladesh, and a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies and Journalism from the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh.
