Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Tim started their career as a Lab Assistant and Web Designer at Columbia University in 2012, where they contributed to the design of the on-site Hyperwall and set up a visual interface in HTML. In 2013, they joined Epic as an Interface Engineer, where they developed new interface functionality in Intersystems Cache and managed the implementation of interface code at three customer sites. In 2015, Tim joined ActionIQ as a Forward Deployed Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Infrastructure Engineer in 2017. In 2019, they became a DevOps Engineer at ActionIQ and currently holds the position of Developer Experience Engineer - Tech Lead, starting in 2022. Their work experience showcases their expertise in interface development, infrastructure management, and devops engineering.

Tim Murphy attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. In October 2017, they also obtained two additional certifications: Functional Program Design in Scala from Coursera, and Functional Programming Principles in Scala, also from Coursera.
