Naya Shim

Naya Shim is a Program Associate at Activate, overseeing initiatives for Activate Anywhere and Activate New York, which focuses on carbon-tech and climate-tech innovation in various industries. Additionally, Naya serves as an Independent Consultant for Nabiyas, LLC, developing social strategies for sustainably-minded small businesses in NYC. Previous experience includes roles as Head of Community and Climate Impact at Climate Candy™, Special Projects Intern at The Climate Reality Project, and Constituent Liaison for the Office of New York State Assemblymember Brian Barnwell. Naya has a strong foundation in data organization, research, and event planning, complemented by a Master of Arts in Climate and Society from Columbia Climate School and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Law from Emory University.
