Leonardo Lisboa da Motta has a diverse work experience in the fields of epigenetics, research, education, and biochemistry. Leonardo currently works as a Key Account Manager at Active Motif, where they are responsible for managing portfolios and providing scientific support to customers. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Associate at The University of Nottingham, where they conducted experiments, analyzed data, and supervised students. Alongside their research position, they founded a small online education company called ExtraClasse - Educação Continuada, where they developed business plans and digital marketing strategies. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2008, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Cancer biology from 2009 to 2011. Building on their expertise in this field, Leonardo pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from 2011 to 2015 at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul as well. In 2013, they expanded their academic horizons by enrolling in a PhD program abroad at the University of Oxford, specializing in Cancer biology. Leonardo completed this program in 2015.
