Mark Perez

Mark Perez has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. Mark most recently worked at Active Motif as a Senior Research Associate, where they were responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of antibodies, reagents, and kits. Mark also played a key role in troubleshooting and redesigning protocols to improve project quality and revenue. Prior to this, Mark worked as a Research Associate III, where they served as a team leader and cross-departmental facilitator for the release of new products. Mark also worked as a Bioproduction and Development Associate, supervising a group of associates and manufacturing a large quantity of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies during the pandemic. Before joining Active Motif, Mark worked at MilliporeSigma as an R&D Technician III, specializing in immunoassay development and purifications of antibodies.

Mark Perez obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to their enrollment at the university, they completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) in Math and Science at Riverside City College, from 2009 to 2013. Mark Perez's secondary education was completed at Canyon Springs High School from 2006 to 2009, where they earned their High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates.
