Adam Rhodes began their career in 2003 as a Hosting Technician at Blackfoot Hosting, where they developed internal web applications, maintained server software, worked directly with customers to resolve technical issues, and trained new members of staff. In 2008, they joined Goldman Sachs as a Programmer Analyst, where they worked on a critical financial system using enterprise Java technologies, Hibernate, JMS messaging, and DB2, as well as conducting .NET development, working on a C# user interface. Adam later returned to Blackfoot Hosting in 2009 in a part time role while returning to university to begin research masters degree, and was responsible for the architecture of a custom Cloud/VPS server management system.
In 2012, Adam Rhodes joined RM plc as a Lead Architect, where they were responsible for defining the technical strategy for RM's Digital Platforms, acting as the technical contact for key customers and third parties, establishing and leading an Architecture Forum, and contributing to product roadmaps for both existing products and new innovations. Adam then joined ActiveNav in 2020 as a Cloud Software Architect / Technical Lead, where they were the lead architect for a Microsoft Azure based cloud data discovery and mapping platform.
Adam Rhodes has an education history that spans from 2005 to 2022. Adam obtained a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham in 2008, followed by an MPhil in Computer Science from the same university in 2012. In 2021, Adam obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification from Microsoft, and in 2022 they obtained a Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification from Microsoft.
