Olivier BILLIARD

Olivier Billiard has extensive work experience in the field of software development and consulting. Olivier has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career.

Starting in 2001, Olivier began their career as a Java consultant at Thales Idatys. Olivier then joined EDF R&D in 2002, where they worked as a Java consultant in a small team. During their time at EDF R&D, they designed and implemented a middle office program and collaborated on the development of a new database.

In 2005, Olivier joined Thales EPM as a Java/J2EE consultant in their product support division. Olivier worked in a team of four and was involved in designing and building a front office portal application for clients like Renault. Olivier gained experience in web development and managing user requests in this role.

In 2008, Olivier joined Fnac as a senior Java consultant. Olivier worked in a larger team of 16 IT professionals and contributed to the maintenance, refactoring, and development of new features for the ticketing system. Olivier also designed and developed the back-office part of the system, which allowed clients to choose their seats for shows. Olivier found working in a larger team with agile project management beneficial for their personal growth.

From 2010 to 2011, Olivier worked as a senior Java consultant at FastConnect. Olivier provided GigaSpaces XAP and Java training to Daiwa in Tokyo and was involved in GigaSpaces WAN Gateway maintenance. Olivier also upgraded GigaSpaces XAP Administration training.

In 2011, Olivier worked as a senior consultant on behalf of FastConnect at ANZ. Olivier worked in a two-person team and designed and implemented a business intelligence project using ActivePivot. Olivier created OLAP cubes and additional webservices for market risk analysis using Murex source data.

In the same year, Olivier joined HSBC as a senior consultant. Olivier was part of a four-person IT team and completely refactored and migrated an ActivePivot Business Intelligence application. Olivier also profiled and optimized the code and worked on deploying the application in the EMEA and US regions.

Most recently, Olivier joined ActiveViam in 2012. Olivier started as a senior consultant and later became the Professional Services Manager for Hong Kong. Olivier is currently working as a Customer Success Solution Architect, utilizing their skills and expertise to support and provide solutions to customers.

Throughout their work experience, Olivier has had the opportunity to work in different cultures and languages, which has enriched their personal and professional growth.

Olivier Billiard obtained a HND in IT from UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, during the years 1997 to 1999. Following this, they pursued further education at Université de Tours and obtained a Master's degree in IT from 1999 to 2001.
