Max helps bring the software models at Actual to life by synthesizing software, scientific research, and value driven product development. His background spans nearly a decade of building and leading complex modeling, planning, and analytics products that power everything from fundamental physics research to safety critical decision making in aircraft. Max is a fervent believer in the power of software to transform the world, and is dedicated to using it in the fight against climate change.

Prior to Actual, Max was the Head of Simulation at Acubed by Airbus, where he led the team responsible for developing and productizing the airspace digital twin - a modeling, analytics, and planning tool that has empowered researchers, regulators, and aircraft operators to develop and design the next generation of air traffic management. He is an avid space enthusiast as well as a Part 107 drone pilot.
