James Green

James Green is a Partner at ActualTech Media. Prior to that, they were a Consulting Engineer at Heartland Business Systems from June 2014 to December 2015. In that role, they provided sales consultants and fellow engineers with design assistance, review, validation, and optimization of systems and protocols. James also contributed to product selection and research, configuration standards and best practices and educated sales teams on these products and services so that they can sell them.

Before that, they were an Independent Contractor from May 2013 to May 2014 as a Virtualization Consultant. Prior to that, they were an Engineer, Systems at General Dynamics Information Technology from September 2012 to May 2013. And before that, they were a Systems Engineer II at Vital Support Systems from March 2011 to September 2012. Their first role in IT was as an Assistant IT Administrator at Foster Group from March 2007 to January 2010.

James Green has a BS in Computer Science from Iowa State University. James also has a certification from VMware in VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Data Center Design (VCAP5-DCD) and another in VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5 - Data Center Administration (VCAP5-DCA). Additionally, they are certified as a VMware Certified Professional, View 5 (VCP5-DT) and as a VMware Certified Professional, vSphere 5 (VCP5-DCV).
