Sharon Dyer

Sharon Dyer is an experienced optometrist currently serving as the Optometry Practice Director at Acuity Eye Group since July 2016. Prior to this role, Sharon completed internships at Denver Health, San Diego Naval Medical Center, South Florida Vision, and Castle Family Health Centers, Inc., where specialized skills in contact lens examinations, comprehensive eye care, and co-management with ophthalmologists were developed. Sharon holds a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from Western University of Health Sciences, earned between 2012 and 2016, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from UC Irvine, completed in 2012. Additionally, Sharon contributed to research on climate and biodiversity while volunteering with the UC Irvine Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology.
