Muhammad Zafar Iqbal is a Research Scientist at Acuity Insights since July 2022, following a tenure as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at McGill University. Prior experience includes roles at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, where Muhammad served as Incharge of the Examination Center and Lecturer in the Department of Medical Education, and at the University of Lahore, where positions included Program Coordinator for the Masters of Science in Medical Education and Assistant Professor. Early career experience includes a dental surgeon role at Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Hospital Lahore and house surgeon positions at Shaikh Zayed Hospital and AFID. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal holds a PhD in Health Professions Education from Maastricht University, a Master of Science in Medical Education from the University of Lahore, and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Army Medical College.

Acuity Insights (formerly Altus Assessments) is a Canadian company founded in 2014. Our company was founded on 15 years of research by co-founders Kelly Dore (Ph.D.) and Harold Reiter (M.D MEd), who invented our first higher education admissions product, Casper, at McMaster University in Ontario. For the over 700,000 students who’ve taken one of our Casper admissions tests, we are making the process fairer and more equitable and reducing demographic differences so the right students get the right chance to pursue their dreams.
