Justin Liang

Justin Liang is a Senior Research Scientist at Waabi since March 2021, specializing in machine learning and computer vision algorithms for autonomous vehicles. Prior to this role, Justin held positions at Uber Advanced Technologies Group as a Research Scientist II and Research Scientist I from July 2017 to February 2021. Justin's earlier experience includes a software development internship at Verity Studios AG, where responsibilities involved programming software for quadcopters, and contributions to various engineering and research teams, including roles at Snowbots, Brock Solutions, Confirmed Automation Systems Inc., UBC's Clean Energy Research Laboratory, and the Supermileage Team. Education includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia.
