Lisa Bien is the Vice President of Communications at Acuity Healthcare. Lisa has over 20 years of experience in public relations, marketing, and employee communications. Lisa has a proven track record of increasing company visibility and brand awareness through strategic communications initiatives.

Lisa began their career as a public information manager at WHYY. In this role, they were responsible for media relations and programming for the station, which included the nationally syndicated program Fresh Air with Terry Gross. Lisa was able to increase awareness of WHYY’s programs and services and grow audience and revenue through traditional and new media.

In 2016, Lisa became the Vice President of Communications and Employee Engagement at Acuity Healthcare. In this role, they are responsible for creating and disseminating all external and company-wide internal communications. Lisa has also cultivated and managed the company’s digital footprint. In addition, they have created and implemented best practices for ongoing employee communication and engagement. Under Lisa’s leadership, Acuity Healthcare has seen significant growth in both its visibility and its brand awareness.

Lisa Bien has a BA of Journalism from Temple University and a Master's degree in Education from Holy Family University.

Lisa Bien reports to Edwin H. Cooper, President and Chief Executive Officer. Lisa Bien works with J. Kevin Williams - Vice President, Information Systems, Stephen Clayton - VP, Revenue Cycle and Managed Care, and Gwen Babson - EVP, Corporate Compliance and General Counsel.
