Balan Chidambaram

Balan Chidambaram has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Starting in 1996, they worked as a Senior Consultant at United Airlines for 11 years, specializing in enterprise optimization. Balan then moved on to Hillshire Brands, where they served as a Senior Manager for IT Services and Vendor Management before transitioning to the role of Senior Manager for Decision Support at Sara Lee Corporation. In 2013, Balan joined ITW as the Director of IT Operations, where they were a member of the IT Senior Leadership Team. After their time at ITW, they became the Vice President of Information Technology at Smalley in 2017, overseeing strategic, management, operational, and financial responsibilities. Alongside their executive positions, Balan was a Technology Council Member at GLG, AlphaSights, Coleman Research, and NewtonX. Most recently, they have taken on the role of General Manager at Aculocity in 2022 and Chief Technology Officer at GVW Group in the same year.

Balan Chidambaram holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Balan then pursued dual Master's degrees in Computer Science and Operations Research from Louisiana State University, completing the program from 1993 to 1996.
