Abhishek Shanbhag

Abhishek Shanbhag has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Abhishek is currently the VP of AI for Business at Acuvate, where they lead technical pre-sales, solution design, and delivery oversight for large transformative projects. Additionally, Abhishek serves as the Practice Head for Artificial Intelligence & Automation, responsible for service offerings and solutions in this space. Prior to Acuvate, they were the Practice Head for Solutions at the same company, focusing on research, design, and development of IP solutions and new technology innovations. Abhishek also worked as the Practice Head for Microsoft Solutions and Mobility at Object Technology Solutions Inc. (OTSI), where they built and fostered their Microsoft and Mobility COE, and provided presales support and consulting services. Abhishek has also held various roles at Acuvate Software and MindTree, including VP of Business Solutions, Head of Global Presales & Solutions, Technical Manager, and Project Lead. Abhishek's experience includes driving real-world solutions for customers using Microsoft technologies, managing technical teams, and working on application development and Bluetooth-based consumer products.

Abhishek Shanbhag completed their Executive Education in Leadership with AI from the Indian School of Business in 2023-2024. Abhishek also pursued an Executive Education Program in Strategic Leadership for IT Companies from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore in 2023. In 2000-2004, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. Prior to that, from 1995-2000, they attended Kendriya Vidyalaya.
