Haeyaert Philippe R.d.

Haeyaert Philippe R.D. has extensive experience in customs and excise within the FOD Financiën since June 1996, currently serving as Hoofdadministratie Douane en accijnzen - Wetgeving. Notable achievements include receiving the customs medal from Belgium and multiple honors such as knight in the Order of the Crown (2014) and knight in the Order of Leopold (2019). Philippe has also held various roles, including Adjunct Financieel assistent and customs officer, specializing in legislation and the origin of goods. In addition to work in the public sector, Philippe volunteers as Chairman of the Group Committee Brussels for ACV, elected for a third term until early 2025. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in modern history from KU Leuven and secondary education from Sint-Pauluscollege and Sint-Franciscus. Philippe continues to contribute to the field, planning to work until August 2026.
