Dr. Ahmet Kuzucuoglu

Dr. Ahmet Kuzucuoglu has a diverse work experience in the field of finance and corporate management spanning over several prestigious companies. Dr. Ahmet began their career at E & Y as a Senior Associate, specializing in Tax Compliance and Consultancy Services from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they joined PwC as part of their Corporate Finance - Transaction Advisory Services team, where they provided support and guidance to clients in various areas such as valuations, financial due diligence, M&A accounting, and strategy consulting.

In 2009, Dr. Kuzucuoglu moved to RWE, initially serving as the Business Development & Market Intelligence Manager. In this role, they played a crucial role in decision-making processes and supported the country strategy by identifying and pursuing growth opportunities. Dr. Ahmet also engaged in market research, pricing due diligence, and involvement in acquisitions and mergers. Later on, they served as the Deputy CFO of RWE Turkey, overseeing financial operations from June 2010 to December 2012.

Their next venture was with ACWA Power, where they held several significant positions. From 2012 to 2022, Dr. Kuzucuoglu served as the Chief Financial Officer for Turkey and Bulgaria, responsible for overall financial management and activities. Dr. Ahmet led project financing, financial strategies, high-volume contracts, budget management, and ensured compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, they served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for the Oman Non-Mitsui Cluster, spearheading critical projects such as the CCGT 450MW plant and the successful development and execution of the 607 MW PV plant renewable project.

Throughout their career, Dr. Ahmet Kuzucuoglu has demonstrated their expertise in corporate finance, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, budgeting, and ensuring financial compliance. Their experience with ACWA Power, RWE, PwC, and E & Y has equipped him with a well-rounded skill set and a proven track record in the finance industry.

Dr. Ahmet Kuzucuoglu holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics (English) from Marmara University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Ahmet then pursued a Master's degree in Economics Law with a specialization in LLM from Galatasaray Üniversitesi, completed from 2010 to 2011. Their educational journey continued, and they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Accounting and Audit at İstanbul Ticaret Üniversitesi, expected to be completed in 2023. Additionally, Dr. Kuzucuoglu has obtained the certification of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from ISMMMO in 2017.
