Andre Kersten

Andre Kersten has extensive work experience in various technical roles. Andre currently holds the position of Director of Engineering at Ada Health since March 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at Gymondo GmbH from March 2014 to January 2020.

Before their role at Gymondo GmbH, Andre worked as a freelancer software engineer for several companies, including Siemens AG, Nokia Siemens Networks GmbH & Co. KG, SWS Wettshop Service GmbH, and CAP & More Solutions GmbH, where they were also a co-founder and team lead. This freelance period lasted from January 2007 to December 2017.

In addition, Andre has held other positions, such as CTO at Nimbudent GmbH from August 2013 to February 2014, Co-Founder and Co-CEO at CAP & More Solutions GmbH from August 2008 to August 2009, and Junior Software Developer at Medipads GmbH from July 2004 to December 2006.

Andre also has non-technical experience working as a Sachbearbeiter at HvF Tiefbau GmbH, where they served as the department leader in charge of billing and construction site controlling from January 1998 to September 1999.

Andre Kersten completed their education at FH Braunschweig/Wolfenbüttel from 2000 to 2004, earning a degree in business-related computer science (Dipl. Wirt. Inf. (FH)). Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they obtained a degree in Industriekaufmann (IHK) from HvF-Tiefbau GmbH. In addition to their formal education, Andre also holds various certifications such as the EF SET English Certificate, Certified Agile Leadership I, and certifications in cybersecurity and data protection from institutions such as Scrum Alliance, Lynda.com, and TUV Nord.
