Alicia Schisler

Chief of External Affairs at Adagio Health

Alicia Schisler has been with Adagio Health since December 2018. In her current role, she oversees the organization’s marketing, communications, development and community outreach efforts. Prior to joining Adagio Health, she spent four years focused on corporate communications and strategy in the energy industry; and twenty years with WQED Pittsburgh where she served as a Senior Producer, Writer & Project Manager. While at WQED, Schisler spent 10 years producing the award winning nightly news magazine "OnQ"; she also produced and wrote several other programs including two nationally televised healthcare documentaries “The Empowered Patient” (2014) and “The Last Chapter” (2012). A four-time Emmy award winner and 14-time nominee, Schisler was also recognized with a Southwestern Pennsylvania Media and Mental Health award for the postpartum depression television special “Beyond Baby Blues”; and received a Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters Award for Excellence for projects focused on the region’s aging population. She is a mom of two sons and a daughter, and passionate about healthcare, equality, and opportunities for all.

Adagio Health

For fifty years, Adagio Health has been providing health and wellness services and support in western Pennsylvania. Recently, the organization’s operational footprint has expanded to include seven counties in West Virginia, and five counties in southern New York. Adagio Health also manages the state-funded Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (BCCEDP) in 62 counties across the state of Pennsylvania.
