Jagadish Khanagavi MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI has worked at various institutions throughout their career. Jagadish is currently employed as the Medical Director of Adams County Cardiology at the University of Cincinnati, a role they began in January 2022. Jagadish is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati starting from August 2020.

Prior to this, Dr. Khanagavi served as the Medical Director of Cardiac Rehab at Adams County Regional Medical Center, beginning in October 2021. Jagadish was previously an Interventional Cardiologist at Metro Health from July 2018 to August 2020.

Dr. Khanagavi completed their Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Rush Medical College of Rush University Medical Center from June 2017 to July 2018. Before that, they were a Cardiology Fellow at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County from July 2014 to June 2017.

Jagadish also gained experience as the Chief Resident in Internal Medicine at Westchester Medical Center from July 2013 to June 2014 and as an Internal Medicine Resident from July 2010 to June 2013.

Dr. Khanagavi began their career as a Clinical Research Physician at the Anthropological Survey of India in Mysore from February 2010 to June 2010. Jagadish then worked as the Owner, Managing Partner, and Physician at Khanagavi Hospital from April 2008 to February 2010.

Jagadish Khanagavi MD, FACP, FACC, FSCAI has an extensive education history. Jagadish obtained their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from the University of Mysore, completing their studies from 2002 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Research from Rush University from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Khanagavi has achieved several certifications and fellowships in their field. Jagadish is a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist by the American Board of Internal Medicine since October 2018 and is also Board Certified in Cardiology. Jagadish holds further certifications such as the Certification Board for Nuclear Cardiology from the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, obtained in February 2017, and the National Board of Echocardiography certification from the NATIONAL BOARD OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY INC, obtained in October 2016.

Dr. Khanagavi has also obtained various other certifications to enhance their expertise, including the Good Clinical Practice certification from the CITI Program in March 2022 and the HSR CORE for 2017 Program certification from the CITI Program in March 2022. Jagadish is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI) certified by the APCA since February 2021.

Moreover, they are recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology since March 2019, a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions since June 2020, and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians since September 2015. Jagadish holds certifications from the CBCCT and APCA for Cardiac CT and is associated with the American College of Cardiology.
