Dr. Nathan Boughton

Dr. Nathan Boughton currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Adams County School District 14, a position held since June 2022. Prior to this role, Dr. Boughton was the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources at Cleveland Independent School District from September 2019 to December 2023, and spent over 27 years at Aldine ISD, where responsibilities included Executive Director of Human Resources - Staffing and Director of Benefits. Dr. Boughton holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Leadership with Superintendent Certification from the University of Houston, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Sam Houston State University, a Bachelor's degree in Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and an Associate’s Degree from Riverland Community College. Dr. Boughton is passionate about making a difference for all stakeholders within the Aldine community.
