Deepak Chavan

Deepak Chavan has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Deepak currently works at Adani Capital as the State Head - Asst. General Manager, where they are responsible for business expansion, portfolio management, administrative duties, profitability, and credit operations. Deepak is also involved in running a CV company and assisting the collection team.

Prior to this, Deepak worked at IndoStar Capital Finance Ltd. as the State Business Head - Business & Collection. In this role, they managed business expansion, portfolio management, administrative tasks, profitability, and credit operations for various sectors including CV, CE, Car Loans, TW, 3W, PV, and Tractor & Farm Equipment.

Deepak started their career at IndusInd Bank as a Branch In-charge, where they managed retail and corporate loans for various products and achieved business volumes, soft collections, and bad debt recovery.

Prior to that, Deepak worked at Automotive Manufacturers Private Limited as an Executive Sales Representative. In this role, they demonstrated vehicles, identified customers, convinced them about the products, arranged suitable finances, and coordinated deliveries.

Deepak Chavan completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from Shivaji University, Kolhapur, between 1990 and 1995. Deepak then pursued a Diploma in Business Administration and Management at the same university from 1995 to 1996. Later, Deepak earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance & Marketing from Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies in Pune, which they completed between 2011 and 2014.
