Amanda Phillips has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Amanda started their career as a Float Pool RN at Parkwest Medical Center in 2013 and then moved on to work as an RN at TeamHealth from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, they joined AeroCare as a Business Development Manager, where they implemented new software training and marketed ventilator sales to physician groups. Recently, in 2021, they joined AdaptHealth as a National Clinical Programs Manager, overseeing clinical documentation and creating a national rollout plan for a ventilator management program. Amanda was later promoted to Director of Clinical Education.

Amanda Phillips earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1999-2003. Amanda later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from the same university in 2004-2005. In 2012, they obtained a Registered Nurse certification from the Registered Nurses Professional Association.
