David Sommerville

Vice President of Sales - Americas, US Federal Government & ANZ at Adaptiva

David Sommerville has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. David started as a Sales Representative at Procter & Gamble in 1984, where they managed a $14 million territory. David then moved on to Brunswick Corporation in 1987, where they became the VP/GM of Bayliner, overseeing two leading brands and seven manufacturing plants. After that, they owned and managed a dual franchise car dealership, Volkswagen Mazda, from 2002 to 2011. Following their dealership ownership, they joined Arkadin as the Director of Sales, focusing on Unified Communications and the Microsoft Business Alliance. Currently, they are the Vice President of Sales at Adaptiva, responsible for managing sales teams and key strategic accounts in the Americas, US Federal Government, and ANZ regions, selling IT automation and security software.

David Sommerville completed their high school education at Lakeside High School between 1976 and 1980, where they pursued general studies. David then pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business between 1980 and 1984, specializing in Marketing/Marketing Management.
