Charlie Nelson

Charlie Nelson has over 20 years of experience in product management, software development, and bioinformatics across various companies in the life sciences industry.

Most recently, they worked at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp. as a Sr. Director, Software Product Management, where they led product management, user experience, bioinformatics, and support services for the company's software portfolio.

Before that, Charlie was the Vice President, Digital Health at NephroSant, Inc., where they developed and implemented the digital health strategy and focused on delivering products and services to improve test availability and value within the clinical workflow.

Charlie also served as the Senior Director, Product Management - Digital Health at CareDx, Inc., where they were responsible for defining and executing software product strategy and leading a team of product managers.

Earlier in their career, Charlie held positions at Illumina, Life Technologies, Agilent Technologies, Protogene Laboratories Inc., and CLONTECH Laboratories, Inc., where they played key roles in product management, software development, and bioinformatics.

Throughout their career, Charlie has consistently demonstrated their ability to lead teams, develop product strategies, and deliver results in the life sciences industry.

Charlie Nelson completed their education at George Mason University. From 1995 to 1997, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Biology. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurophysiology from the same institution. In addition to their academic achievements, they received a certification as a SAFe 4.0 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2016.
