Meghan Garrett, PhD, is a scientist at Adaptive Biotechnologies Corp., specializing in antibody characterization and innovation within the BCR Discovery team since October 2021. Previously, Meghan served as a PhD candidate in the Overbaugh Lab at the University of Washington from September 2016 to October 2021, focusing on mapping antibody responses in COVID-19 cases and developing a novel method called Phage-DMS. Meghan's earlier experience includes working as a Research Technician at Seattle Children's, where projects involved genetic modifications related to cancer treatment, and conducting undergraduate research on antibiotic resistance at Santa Clara University. Meghan holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Biology from Santa Clara University, complemented by minors in Public Health and Biotechnology.
