Shlomi Abramoviz

Shlomi Abramoviz has a strong background in software engineering and management. Shlomi is currently working as a Backend Engineering Manager at Adaptive Shield since January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Software Engineer at the same company from July 2021 to February 2022.

Before joining Adaptive Shield, Shlomi held various roles at Emerge Medical Data Intelligence from 2015 to 2021. Shlomi served as the VP R&D from December 2018 to July 2021, where they oversaw the scaling of their data-based web products and data pipeline, and successfully scaled the R&D organization from 8 to 20 people. Shlomi also worked as a Software Development Team Leader from January 2018 to December 2018 and as a Software Engineer from November 2015 to January 2018. During this time, they gained expertise in working with large scale reactive multithreaded systems on Scala, as well as with MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, and AWS.

Shlomi's career began in the Israeli Intelligence Service, where they held the role of Cyber-Security Software Development Team Leader from July 2012 to October 2015. Prior to that, they worked as a Cyber-Security Software Engineer from June 2009 to July 2012.

Shlomi Abramoviz obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies. Shlomi attended the institution from 2011 to 2015.
