Caroline Desponts has over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and research industries. Caroline began their career in 1999 as a Research Intern at Merck Frosst. In 2000, they were a Graduate Student at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Institute, where they studied the role of SHIP in different hematopoietic cell lineages. In 2001, they were a Graduate Student at both the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. From 2006-2009, they were a Post-Doc at The Scripps Research Institute, followed by a Scientist I and Scientist II position at Fate Therapeutics Inc. from 2009-2012. From 2012-2020, they were an Assistant Director of Biology and Senior Scientist II at Inception Sciences. Most recently, they have been an Associate Director at Inception Therapeutics since 2020, and is currently the Director of Discovery Biology at ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Caroline Desponts obtained a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of South Florida in 2006, with a focus in Stem cell and Cancer biology. Caroline also obtained a Bachelor from McGill University - Macdonald Campus in 1998, majoring in Microbiology.
