Joshin Raghubar has had an impressive career in the venture capital and technology industries. In 2000, they founded and became the Executive Chairperson of iKineo Ventures, a venture builder and investment company. Joshin also served as the Founder and CEO of a customer engagement firm, providing strategic leadership and driving business development. In 2007, they became the Chairperson of UVU Africa, a private/public sector organisation tasked with developing the African innovation and technology economy. In 2014, they founded and became the Non-Executive Director of Explore Sideways, a purveyor of premium immersive travel and wine tourism experiences. In 2018, they became a Member of YPO. In 2019, they founded and became the Non-Executive Director of Adbot. In 2021, they became the Partner of Webrock Ventures, the Chairperson of Kena Health, and the Non-Executive Director of BioCiTi. Finally, in 2022, they became the Executive Chair of Inves Capital and a Board Member of Cape Town Tourism.
Joshin Raghubar began their educational journey at Michaelhouse in 1990, where they attended until 1993. Joshin then went on to the University of Cape Town, where they graduated with a B.Bus.Sc (Hons) in Finance and Accounting in 1997. In 2003, they completed their M.A. in Development Studies at the University of the Western Cape. In 2016, they attended Yale University, but did not receive a degree. In 2018, they completed a course in Behavioural Economics at Ogilvy.
