Anastasia Vrettakou

Director, QC Chemistry at ADC Therapeutics

Anastasia Vrettakou has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Anastasia started their career as a freelance private tutor of Chemistry and Physics from 2006 to 2007. Anastasia then worked as a Research and Information Intern at Penny Brohn Cancer Care from November 2011 to March 2012. Following that, they joined the Benaki Phytopathological Institute as an Analytical Chemist, where they focused on pesticide residue detection in food and water samples, working under the ISO 17025 protocol. Anastasia worked there from February 2012 to October 2013.

From October 2013 to November 2014, Anastasia worked as an Analytical Chemist at the Food Allergens Lab. Anastasia then moved on to Imanova Limited, where they served as a QC Chemist from December 2014 to November 2018. During their time at Imanova Limited, they also held the position of Senior QC Chemist from February 2017 to November 2018.

Since 2018, Anastasia has been working at ADC Therapeutics, initially as a QC Chemist and then as an Associate Director, QC Chemistry from February 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director, QC Chemistry, starting from February 2022.

Anastasia Vrettakou pursued their education with dedication, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon from 2003 to 2009. Anastasia'spassion for scientific exploration continued as they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Chemical Biology at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2010 to 2011.
