Susan Romanus

Ms. Romanus has more than 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning commercial and compliance roles.

During her tenure at Merck, where she started her career, Ms. Romanus held roles in sales, promotion testing, market research management, brand management, and marketing training. Since 2003, she has assisted numerous organizations in the development and enhancement of effective compliance programs. Ms. Romanus held compliance leadership positions as Senior Director, Compliance Officer at Merck Vaccine Division, Vice President, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Daiichi Sankyo, and most recently, Vice President, Compliance at Taiho Oncology.

Ms. Romanus received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry & Cell Biology from the University of California, San Diego, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing & New Venture Management from the University of San Diego, and a Certificate in Change Leadership from Cornell University.
