Shahid Khan has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the banking and finance industry. Shahid began their career at Alcatel France, where they received training in project assessment. Shahid then moved on to Al Faysal Investment Bank, where they developed a portfolio of key assets and played a role in the bank's establishment. Khan later joined Union National Bank as a Credit Officer before transitioning to Invest AD, where they served as a Senior Assistant Manager, responsible for managing a syndicated loan book. Shahid'scareer continued to progress at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, where they held various leadership positions, including Head of Origination and Head of Strategic Clients Division. Currently, Khan is the Head of Government Clients Division for Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, overseeing clients in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Throughout their career, they have worked with major corporations and government entities, managing large portfolios and securing significant transactions.

Shahid Khan completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, from 1994 to 1996, they attended Texas A&M University's School of Electrical Engineering. In 1989 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from the University of New Brunswick. Additionally, they participated in the Young Managers Programme at INSEAD and the International Summer School at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), focusing on Corporate Finance and International Portfolio Management.
