Derrek Wright

Derrek Wright has an extensive work experience in the business development and sales industry. Derrek began their career in 1986 as a Software Tester at IBM. In 1987, they joined Wyse Technology as a Sales Engineer and Technical Support Engineer for the Western Region of the US. In 1994, they moved to Century Software, Inc. as an International Sales Manager for Western Europe. In 2000, they became the Director of Channel Sales at Brainium.com. In 2002, they were the Director of Business Development at Conducive Technology (FlightStats). In 2010, they were the Director of Business Development, Airports and Digital Signage at FlightStats, Inc. In 2015, they founded and became President of Miles Wright Group, a Sales and Business Development consultancy. In 2019, they became the Development Director at SLAM: Salt Lake Academy of Music. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Seel as a Business Development Associate.

Derrek Wright attended Newport Harbor High from 1976 to 1979, where they graduated with a High School diploma. Derrek then attended the University of Utah from 1979 to 1983, where they completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Science. Derrek continued their education at Westminster College from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a BS in Computer Science and Math.
