Joe Lonsdale, the founder of Addepar, has a long history of working with various startups and organizations. He was a general partner at 8VC, a venture capital firm, before founding Addepar. He was also a founder and partner at Formation 8, a technology investment firm. In addition to his work in the tech industry, Lonsdale is also on the board of directors for Strive for College and The Seasteading Institute. Lonsdale's education is in computer science from Stanford University.
