Vanessa Wharton

Vanessa Wharton has a diverse work experience in the accounting field. Vanessa most recently worked as a Senior Accountant at Addigy starting in 2023. Prior to that, they attended Prime Digital Academy from 2022 to 2023, where they completed a full-stack software engineering program. Before attending Prime Digital Academy, they worked as an Associate Small Business Accountant at NorthRock Partners from 2021 to 2022, where they built a new sector of client services for small businesses. From 2019 to 2021, Vanessa worked as an Accountant at Modist Brewing Co., where they handled various accounting tasks. Prior to that, they worked at Davanni's as a Shift Manager from 2005 to 2019, overseeing operations and supervising employees. Vanessa was also an Accountant at Horizontal Integration from 2016 to 2018, where they managed accounts payable and created documentation of accounting processes. Vanessa worked as an Accountant at Balance Bookkeeping and Accounting in 2016 and at GovDelivery in 2015, where they completed general ledger accounting tasks. Vanessa also worked as a Staff Accountant at HelpSystems from 2014 to 2015, maintaining financial records and performing general accounting tasks. Lastly, they worked as a Property Management Staff Accountant at Target Corporation from 2013 to 2014, analyzing and processing payables and receivables.

Vanessa Wharton completed their Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and French Language and Literature, respectively, at St. Catherine University from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also pursued French Language and Culture Studies at the Institute Catholique in Paris, France.

Additionally, Vanessa obtained a Full-Stack Software Engineering Certification from Prime Digital Academy, which took place from 2022 to 2023.

In terms of certifications, they obtained the "Accessibility Fundamentals- Disabilities, Guidelines, and Laws" certification from Deque University in February 2023. In July 2021, they also acquired the "Accounting Ethics" certification from LinkedIn, as well as the "SharePoint Online Essential Training: The Basics (2018)" certification, also from LinkedIn.
