Jason Spears

Jason Spears is the Chief Compliance Officer & Associate General Counsel at Addition. Prior to this, he served as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Cartica Management. Jason's experience also includes serving as Vice President of Alternatives at DWS Group. Jason began his career as an Associate in the New York and Hong Kong offices of Shearman & Sterling LLP in the Investment Funds group. Prior to his legal career, Jason was an Educator with Teach for America.

Jason Spears earned his undergraduate degree from Morehouse College, where he majored in economics. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jason Spears earned his MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and his JD from the NYU School of Law.
