Sahiti Yarakala, MPH has a diverse range of work experience. Sahiti has worked as a Project Director and Project Associate at Adelphi Research, where they were responsible for project management tasks such as developing and updating screeners and questionnaires, supporting client meetings, and ensuring project milestones were met. Sahiti also worked as a Freelance Photographer for sahitiyphotography, showcasing their photography skills. Additionally, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they worked on research projects under the guidance of Dr. Chelsea McCabe and Dr. Kristin Oliver. Sahiti also gained experience as a Project Intern at JASA, where they compiled research material for a nutritional program and built connections with nutritionists. Sahiti's experience also includes being a part of the research team at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where they gathered and analyzed research data, performed statistical analysis, and assisted with participant communication and data collection. Sahiti has also worked as a Medical Scribe at Scottish Rite for Children, a Student Intern at CHETNA-DFW, and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Dallas. Sahiti'sresearch work at the university involved studies in music perception and cognition, heme function in lung cancer, and vascular mechanobiology. Additionally, Sahiti has worked as a Math and English Tutor at Gideon Math & Reading. Sahiti Yarakala, MPH completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Healthcare Management from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, spanning from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas between 2015 and 2019.
