David Luan has a diverse work experience in the fields of AI research, engineering, and leadership. David is currently serving as the Founding Team CEO at Adept AI Labs. Prior to this, David was a member of the Impact Advisory Committee at Apollo Global Management Inc. David also worked at Google Research as the Director, where they led the large models effort and served as the Google Brain Lead. David has also worked at Axon as the Director of AI and Dextro as the CEO, specializing in deep learning for video categorization and scene segmentation. Additionally, David worked at Microsoft as a PM and iRobot Research at iRobot. David started their career as an intern in the Computer Science Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
