Thorben Ehlers

Thorben Ehlers currently serves as the Business Unit Lead Director Public Sector at adesso SE, overseeing Public Sector Delivery units in Northern Germany with a focus on software development, technical consulting, and test automation, while also managing international delivery units in Istanbul and Bucharest. In January 2024, Thorben Ehlers became the Geschäftsführer of medgineering GmbH, a subsidiary of adesso SE that provides software solutions to enhance emergency medical response. Previously, Thorben Ehlers held key positions such as Geschäftsfeldleiter Digitale Verwaltung and Prokurist at PROSOZ Herten GmbH, where a new consulting unit was established to support public administration digitization. Additional experience includes roles at SAP as a Business Development Expert, MACH AG as Head of Business Development & Presales Public Sector, and earlier academic and supportive roles. Thorben Ehlers holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Kiel University.
