Damon Ackison

Damon Ackison has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Damon most recently served as the Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Integration at ADI Global Distribution, a position they have held since June 2021. Prior to that, Damon worked as a Business Management Consultant from September 2019 to June 2021.

Before their consulting role, Damon held various positions at AmerisourceBergen and its subsidiary, H. D. Smith. From January 2018 to August 2019, they served as the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis - H. D. Smith, where they led budgeting and forecasting. Prior to that, they held the role of Senior Director of Business Analytics and later Director of Business Analytics at H. D. Smith from July 2014 to January 2018. In these roles, they developed financial models, led the introduction of a Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC), and reviewed sales performance.

Damon's earlier experience includes working as Principal at FinBase Consulting LLC from December 2010 to January 2012, where they achieved significant cost savings for clients. Damon also worked at Cardinal Health from 1998 to 2010, taking on roles such as Manager of Inventory Management and Field Operations, Manager of FP&A, and Supervisor of Financial Analysis.

Damon began their career as a Pharmacy Technician/Storekeeper II at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center from February 1993 to September 1998.
