Alison Chan

Alison Chan has extensive work experience in the field of quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Alison is currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance (QA for QC) at Adicet Bio, Inc. Prior to this role, they were the Associate Director QC Program Lead at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. from August 2020 to October 2021.

Before joining Vir Biotechnology, Inc., Alison held the position of Associate Director of Commercial QC at Dermira, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, from October 2018 to July 2020. Earlier in their career at Dermira, Inc., they were the Sr. Manager of Commercial QC from January 2018 to October 2018.

Before joining Dermira, Inc., Alison worked as the Sr. QC Manager at Versartis, Inc. from March 2017 to November 2017. Prior to that, they served as the QC Manager in Microbiology at Pfizer from September 2016 to February 2017.

Alison also gained valuable experience at Medivation, where they were the GMDP - QC Microbiology Manager from March 2015 to September 2016. Prior to this role, they held multiple positions at Bayer, including QC Micro Method Validation Specialist from November 2014 to March 2015 and QC Environmental Monitoring Associate Manager from December 2012 to November 2014.

Earlier in their career, Alison worked at XOMA, where they held the role of QC Microbiology Supervisor from 2007 to December 2012. Prior to this, they served as a QC Associate II to Technical Specialist from 2002 to 2007. Their career started at Anosys, where they worked as a QC Associate for a brief period in 2002.

Through their diverse work experience, Alison has developed a strong understanding of QC and QA practices in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

Alison Chan attended Bemidji State University from 1991 to 1995, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology.
