Cole Townsend has worked in several roles at various institutions since 2014. Cole began as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Oklahoma in 2014, followed by a Summer Research Scholar at the Stephenson Cancer Center in the same year. In 2015, they were a Robert H.P. Olney Fellow at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. From 2017 to 2018, they were an MSc Student and then a PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysical Chemistry. In 2022, they worked as a Scientist I at Adimab, LLC, a Summer Fellow at MPM Capital, and an Intern at Biogen.
Cole Townsend obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma between 2012 and 2016. Cole then pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Molecular Biology at the University of Gӧttingen between 2016 and 2018. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Biology at the University of Gӧttingen between 2016 and 2021.
