Bhavna Naresh

Bhavna Naresh has extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance. Bhavna worked as an Assistant Manager at KPMG Russia for a short secondment period in 2017. Prior to that, Bhavna worked at KPMG Singapore for several years, where they held roles as Assistant Tax Manager and Senior Associate, primarily specializing in international tax advisory. Bhavna provided a range of corporate tax services to industry-leading clients and advised on corporate restructuring, cross-border transactions, and due diligence. Bhavna also played a key role in designing and implementing holding and transaction structures to optimize tax efficiencies. Before joining KPMG, they worked at Gojek as a Senior Manager, International Tax, where they were involved in the launch of the company in several Southeast Asian countries. Bhavna advised on the tax implications of various on-demand services and spearheaded commercial collaborations and partnership agreements. Bhavna's most recent role is as the Global Head of Tax at Aditya Birla Global Trading, where they started in 2022.

Bhavna Naresh has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, which they obtained in 2012. In the same year, they also completed the ACCA qualification under the KPMG/ACCA joint scholarship. Prior to that, they became a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants in 2016. Most recently, in 2021, Bhavna completed the Accredited Tax Practitioner program at Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals.
