Michael R. Schmid

Since 2018, Michael R. Schmid holds a Senior Electronics Engineer position at AdjuCor. He is responsible for providing clinical and technical support with the procurement and execution of measurement technology to capture hemodynamic cardiovascular effects. Michael R. also contacts medical device manufacturers and clinics, as well as radiology to ensure timely completion of planned examinations. Additionally, he process multiparametric medical test data regarding unknown combination effects and evaluates the effects using statistical methods (t-test, ANOVA). Michael R. also works on multidimensional ECG real time algorithms and did. his masters thesis in this part of research, where he developed the decision-making process for the processing of multi-channel ECG recordings. Michael R. also conducted systematic literature research on heart support systems, ECG data acquisition and analysis, and vectorcardiography, and implemented algorithms for automated ECG analysis in MATLAB. Michael R. also worked in the field of biomedical image processing and CT data segmentation, where he built a patient database for human and veterinary medical images, created a systematic semi-automated segmentation process (Python) for cardiac CT datasets, and conducted quality control of the image data and specified the requirements and tests of medical imaging and segmentation.
