Bhumi Bhanushali

Bhumi Bhanushali has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. In 2016, they worked as a Social Worker at Advitya, where they assisted in making gift products and provided vocational training to differently disabled individuals. The following year, in 2017, they served as a Social Ambassador at Indian Development Foundation, collecting and donating old newspapers, magazines, books, and clothes to those in need. In 2017, they also had an internship at Embedded Technosolutions, where they gained practical experience in designing applications and developing an understanding of Linux and Python programming for Raspberry Pi. In 2018, Bhumi worked as an Internship Trainee at NetGains Technologies, where they developed a web interface for building customized chatbots. In 2019, they joined Carnegie Mellon University as a Graduate Research Assistant, focusing on designing and developing a Gesture Based Recognition system for American Sign Language. Bhumi continued their research work at the university in 2020, working on ultrasound-based needle tracking for autonomous robotic needle insertion. Bhumi also joined Bloomfield Robotics in 2020 as an Artificial Intelligence Software Engineer, leading the development and deployment of deep learning and classical computer vision models. Bhumi's most recent work experience is as a Machine Learning Engineer at adMarketplace, starting in 2023.

Bhumi Bhanushali began their education at Thakur Vidya Mandir High School, where they completed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) in an unspecified field of study in the year 2012. Bhumi then went on to attend Thakur College of Science and Commerce from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with a focus on Science.

After completing their HSC, Bhumi attended Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering from 2014 to 2018, where they earned their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

In 2019, Bhumi enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University, where they pursued a Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Bhumi completed this program in 2020.

Additionally, in July 2019, Bhumi obtained a certification in "Introduction to TensorFlow for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning" from Coursera.
