Evan Turtel

Evan Turtel has a broad range of experience in technology and leadership roles. Evan is currently working as the Senior Director of Software Engineering at adMarketplace. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Engineering at Pride Global from 2016 to 2022, where they directed internal and outsourced engineering teams in building the LAUNCH 2.0 technology platform. Before that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at Assessment Innovation, Inc. from 2014 to 2016, where they established and implemented the technology vision and strategy for the startup.

In their earlier career, Evan worked as a Technical Consultant at an independent professional capacity in 2013. Evan also served as the Director of Software Development at Smarter Agent from 2012 to 2013, where they led the development of a platform and mobile applications for the real estate industry. Evan co-founded Top Honors Inc. in 2002 and served as the President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors until 2013. Evan was also a Technical Project Manager/CMS Architect at Triumph Learning from 2010 to 2012, where they led a large-scale CMS integration project for educational content.

Additionally, Evan worked as a Senior Consultant at Grassroots Technologies from 2004 to 2010, where they optimized software QA processes and partnered with outsourced development teams for enterprise-level projects. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Systems Architecture at TheStreet.com from 1998 to 2004, where they implemented cost-saving measures and designed publishing systems. Evan began their career as an Applications Developer at Time Inc. New Media from 1996 to 1998.

Evan Turtel pursued their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Cornell University, where they attended from 1990 to 1994. Evan also obtained a second Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from the same university at an undisclosed time.
