Mia Grant MBA, PHR, SHRM-CP, ChFC® has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Mia Grant is currently serving as the Senior Human Resources Director at Admiral Insurance Group, where they have been working since 2022. Prior to this, Mia was a volunteer at HR Certification Institute, assisting with the development of their upSkill Micro-credential program.

Before joining Admiral Insurance Group, Mia worked as the Owner, Consultant, and Coach at Marathon Careers starting from 2018. Mia Grant also held the position of Human Resources Director for the Northeast and Atlantic Regions at Gallagher from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they provided strategic HR consultation and oversaw successful initiatives in talent acquisition, executive compensation, succession planning, and more.

Mia's earlier experience includes working at State Farm® for over two decades in various HR roles. Mia Grant served as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, where they provided strategic HR consultation for multiple business units and managed employee relations. Mia Grant also worked as an Auto Claim Team Manager, leading a team and developing action plans for employees.

Throughout their career, Mia has showcased their expertise in HR, talent management, employee relations, and leadership. Mia Grant holds an MBA degree and certifications in PHR, SHRM-CP, and ChFC®.

Mia Grant holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Dowling College. Mia Grant also obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stony Brook University. In addition to their degrees, Mia has acquired several certifications throughout their career. These include the Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management from HRCI, which they obtained in June 2022. Mia Grant also completed the Coaching Employees through Difficult Situations program offered by LinkedIn in April 2020. Moreover, Mia is a Chartered Financial Consultant® certified by The American College of Financial Services, earning this credential in August 2016. Mia Grant is a SHRM-Certified Professional and a PHR-Professional in Human Resources, both obtained in November 2015 and 2003 respectively. Prior to that, Mia completed the Associate in Insurance Services program in March 2002, the Associate in Management program in January 2001, and the Associate in Claims program in September 1999, all provided by The Institutes.
